Depends on the legalities. It certainly is (or was at the very least) 
against the canon law. Issuing dispensations for nobility and royalty 
that persistently married within prohibited degrees of consanguinity 
or affinity was probably the surest source of income for the Pope. But 
what is the canon law for wizards?
