Snape and the DADA curse.

I see two problems with this explanation.
First, Slughorn probabyl needs to stay on. I don't think Dumbledore 
wants him out in the world unprotected, where Voldemort mught learn 
that he shared the Horcrux memory with Harry.

Second, this dodge was tried already. I believe it was stated 
expokicitly that Moody was going to take the job for just a year, to 
help out Dumbledore. Yet the curse certainly struck him. It could 
easily affect Snape in a way that would render him unemployable by 
the school in the following year, in any capacity. 

(As, in fact, he is, being doubtless the second-most-wanted wizard in 
the WW!)
