You are right and perhaps not: 

"We'll be there, Harry" said Ron
"What?"
"At your aunt and uncle's house" said Ron. "And then we'll go with 
you wherever you're going."

I agree with both of you to a point. To me Hermione isn't
the type to just show up some place. But I can't wait to see what the
Dursley's do when they see Ron and Hermione. Vernon will finally get to
talk to the person who talked to him on the phone in POA. I mean they'll
be in the same house. Somehow I can't see Hermione and Ron just
ignoring them. And Hermione will help. Don't know how but she will.
