Nope, sorry, not a chance.  Nagini is a poisonous snake with fangs and some
serious venom (just ask Arthur), who is milked, or her venom expressed, for
the potion or whatever that LV had been living off of between Wormtail
finding him and LV getting his body.  The snake in HP1 was a constrictor
(just ask the sign in his cage), and they're not poisonous.
