Gosh, I hope not. That would be very unsatsifying. After all the 
years of reading the books, only to have a huge, never revealed 
cliffhanger. Yuck.

I'd like it better if perhaps we are never really sure that Harry is 
actually the one who kills Voldemort. Perhaps it could be Snape? Or 
even Neville (which would fit with the prophecy)?  But I think it's 
more likely that we will never be sure the Voldemort is actually 
gone for good. Evil like that never really dies, it just pops up 
again in a different form. Kind of like Voldemort took on the mantle 
from Grindlewald.
