I would certainly agree with you that JKR managed to mention A LOT of
characters we learn about in the future in the earlier books. I am
rereading PS/SS now and while of course we all know and remember how
nicely Mrs. Figg and Sirius are mentioned in passing, I absolutely did
not remember that JKR managed to stick Molly's brothers in there too.
