You know, I really think poor Neville is just bound to bite it. Because he is so intricately involved in the prophecy, it just seems a necessary. I also think the fact that JKR nixed the Neville/Luna thing and it was pretty obvious that they were forming a bond, he just isn't going to make it. I only hope he goes usefully and bravely. I kind of wonder though if somehow LV becomes privy to the fact there was another baby and in a paranoic fit "just to make sure" and not knowing the rest of the prophecy, kills poor Neville. That could set up a pretty pychological gut punch for Harry, as well, in the "it's my fault again" mode.
