Tonks:

You are right!!  I checked the dates for 2007 and the 7th is a 
Saturday. And the 31st is not.  The books are ALWAY released on a 
Saturday so that everyone can be at the bookstores at midnight on that 
Friday, and not on a weeknight.  So my bet is also 7-7-7.
