You mean Legilimens, I suppose. Occlumeny is what Dumbledore wanted 
Snape to teach Harry: Shutting your mind from Legilimency "attacks". 
But anyway, I wanted to say something else: I would argue that 
Dumbledore is as good a Legilimens as Voldemort is. He surely was able 
to see through Tom Riddle by simply looking at him. I do think he 
doesn't make as much use of this power as Voldemort does, but I think 
in special circumstances he would. Therefore no matter on which side 
Snape is, he definitely was able to hoodwink a great Legilimens (or 
maybe two, if he is on his own side).
