CV: Actually, even a sincere AK is survivable. If it weren't, we'd 
have no books to read. Dumbledore is well aware that Ancient Magic can 
repel an AK. There is no reason why he might not have found some type 
of Ancient Magic to vaccinate himself for an eventual attack by Snape 
or someone else. There is no doubt in my mind that Dumbledore lives. 
He even sent out his patronus at his own funeral.
