Actually, all three of the tasks struck me as somewhat poorly thought
out from a spectator point of view. The first task was both trite
(dragons *again*? Ho-hum) and very quickly over, and the other two, as
you point out, were mostly invisible. Why not just send the champions
on a quest for something, and judge their success by what they bring
back? Or else rethink the tasks to be more interesting to the audience.
