Now, why on Earth should Harry stop hating?  His hate is, IMO, 
perfectly normal and healthy.  It is the expected reaction to attack 
and loss, as well as child abuse, which IMO Snape most definitely is 
guilty of.  For Harry to stop hating would be, quite simply, 
pathological.
