agreed that it can't be neville.  Harry gets protection from 
spending some part of the holidays with family, specifically his 
mother's family.  I think Dudley is right up there for the role of 
betrayer, but even more so, I think Ron is, somewhat inadvertently 
but still. . . the old slippery slope.  Ron is his best friend, but 
he constantly resents the extra attention harry gets.  And Dudley is 
a no brainer.  He'd cough up harry for a box of candy, and never 
realize he was also coughing up his family snd himself at the same 
time.
