Potioncat:
Looks like I shouldn't post when I'm sick.

> Juli: Canon Please? where does it say that James overcame his
feelings about Severus? AFAIK the only mention of a decrease in their
animosity is in OoP, right after Harry goes into Snape's memory and
talks to Remus and Sirius, they said that James grew up, he didn't go
around cursing everyone, well except Snape, but Lily didn't know
about this... They said that James and Severus always hated each
other.

Potioncat:
you know, you're right! For some reason I've been thinking that James
had cut back on cursing Snape as well, and that it was Snape who
continued the fight. Looks like I gave James too much credit! <g>

Potioncat:
But...but... we were discussing Potions Class, not the Sorting
Feast...and...and Harry does have a prior record of unorthodox
arrivals! It isn't the same thing at all...

OK, you got me. Actually this is a lovely piece of support! I wish
I'd thought of it.
