SSSusan:
Might I suggest the word "disloyal"? Would that avoid some of the
negativity that seems to be packed into the words "treachery"
and "betrayal"? Dobby was certainly disloyal to the Malfoys, but he
was helping the side of good, as you note. Same thing with Snape (I
believe) & Regulus. It strikes me as more of a mere descriptor
word, with less strong connotation. (Or is that just me?)
