aussie:
Another birthstone site (www.artofgold.com/store%20lore/stonelore.htm)
shows that Ruby comes from the Latin word, RUBEUS, meaning "red".
Rubeus Hagrid is a Gryffindor man through and through.
It always interested me that DD sent one of the OOTP members with the
least magical ability to be the first on the scene at a James' murder -
with the possibility of DEs around.
And insteasd of a "battalion of Aurors", Hagrid was Harry's "top-grade
security status. And we'll be joining up with additional security"
Blind trust or does DD know a secret about that "Ruby"
