Witherwing:
I completely identify with this. I have stacks of
reading, for professional development, recommendations
from friends, etc., but sometimes I tiptoe to my
daughters' room where we keep the HP books, and pull
down my favorites. I find rereading HP books like
visiting old friends, or taking a relaxing vacation,
or sneaking an extra cookie from the cookie jar.
I could say I read them because I'm a mom, or because
I'm a teacher, but the truth is I just enjoy it.
Immensely.
And isn't it like listening to your favorite CD over
and over again?
Worth it.
