Could you point me to where *all* the Death Eaters say
that Harry is being saved for the Dark Lord?  The DEs at 
the MoM fight only appeared to have been restrained by 
their fear of losing the prophecy.  Voldemort was ready to 
whack Harry then and there for having been irksome too long.

During the flight of the Prince I don't remember any of 
the DEs saying anything about saving Harry for the Dark 
Lord. Snape said it, but to take what he said at face 
value requires the assumption that he is a loyal DE.  

It's a circular argument.  We know Snape is really a DE 
because he's saving Harry for the Dark Lord.  And we 
know the Dark Lord wants Harry saved for him because 
Snape says so.  

There is no other evidence to back up that claim.
