I think it's highly unlikely. NHN goes on to say that his decision 
was motivated by cowardice ("I was afraid of death") and one of 
Dumbledore's perennial themes is that "death is the next great 
adventure," not something to be feared.

But you're forgetting the portraits, which can communicate with those 
left behind. We've already seem Dumbledore's portrait slumbering 
peacefully in the Headmaster's office.
