Dumbledore

It is one of my many beliefs that Dumbledore subconsciously wanted to 
die. In the first book he tells Harry that to the well organized mind 
Death is but the next great adventure. Also JKR has said in one of her 
interviews that Dumbledore is something like 150 years old and he has 
the shriveled hand and he fought Voldemort which left him weakened as 
Snape says in Chapter 2 of HBP.
