Snape had a decision to make, he could fight the Death Eaters and
possibly kill them OR he could murder Dumbledore. Snape, the man you
ask us to admire decided the moral thing to do is murder Dumbledore. I

The devil with Dumbledore, he has nothing to do with it! Severus Snape
decided to become a murderer and there is only one man responsible for
that decision, Severus Snape.

Even if it were true that Snape was a more powerful warrior than
Dumbledore I don't see the relevance. But it's not true. Voldemort,
the most powerful dark wizard in a thousand years feared only one man
and his name wasn't Snape.

Better to distract the only man who has a chance of killing Voldemort
and send him off looking for someone he hates at least as much as the
