Well, that's your interpretation, Pippin. I am doubting very much
that JKR's intention was to show James sexually harrassing Snape.
Remember what Lupin says that at one point half of the Hogwarts used
Levicorpus. Are you going to tell me that it is a metaphor for half
of the school sexually harassing each other? I doubt it very much.
James bullying was not harmless of course, but sexual harassment?
It is your right to interpret it this way of course, but I cannot
see it no matter how hard I try.
