I think you have a very good point here. I certainly agree that the use
of Nymphadora wasn't a dig. I know she tells Harry to call her Tonks
and I know she doesn't like her name, but DD uses it and no one thinks
he was trying to insult her.
But even better, I like your interpretation of the rest of the
conversation. It sure would help to understand what the previous
Patronus was and who it might have represented.
