I have an idea about these items, I had originally just shunned them as meer 
objects. BUT what we know is that there are still 3 missing Horcrux's. What 
do you think about these objects being those remaining horcrux's. No-one 
would suspect them and they could be quite valuable to Voldemort if they are 
the first things he stole using his powers and he may want to salvage them. 
It could also make sense that Harry would know what each of these muggle 
items are seeing as though they wouldn't really be used by wizards (?)

Well just a thought. I'm not sure where he would have hid them, but you 
never know, they may be in the room of requirement with all the other items 
stashed away right under Harry's nose?
