No, I did not think that Draco was just scaring other students. I 
mean, think about it, if Marchbanks is indeed in Malfoys pocket , 
would she mention it to her friend?

I mean, why share the fact that you are being bribed with your 
friend?

Neville does not say that it does not happen, he just says that she 
never mentions Malfoys.

I mean it is POSSIBLE of course, but if I were to decide ( God 
forbid) that I am going to take bribe from anybody, believe me, I 
would NOT mention that to anybody, ever.

If for nothing else, then for the fear that my friend would I don't 
know be more law abiding citisen than me and would go to authorities.

So, I am NOT saying that Marchbank is necessarily in Malfoy's 
pocket, I am just saying that Neville line does not disprove it to 
me.
