The Code of the Guys.  You do NOT date your best friend's sister
without his permission.  That would be worse than taking both the last
slice of pizza AND the last beer.

That Ron might actually want Harry to go out with his sister has
nothing to do with anything.  Harry needs to ask, Ron needs to give
assent.  

Mind you, once permission is granted, it may not be rescinded, save
for really serious infractions, such as abuse, or, you know, taking
the last beer AND the last slice of pizza.
