I agree with Shelly that one cannot be poor if one owns a land that
feeds them. But people(wizarding world or Muggle, real or fiction)
someone's status according to their financial means. The Weasley may
not be that poor but in terms of financial means they are poor to
some people standards, since financially they cannot afford to buy
other luxury or neccessary things that their 7 children need all at
once. If the Weasley have only 2 or 3 maximum 4 children then they
would not be considered poor by their peers. They were only
considered poor because of their financial means but hey, they can
eat so much they want, so for me they are not that poor as others
thought they are.
