Potioncat:
I took "Puddin'head Wilson" with me to the dentist---the very same
dentist who let it slip that Snape wasn't the baddie in SS/PS--he
looked at the book, looked at me and said, "I never knew anyone would
read Mark Twain if they didn't have to."

enduring loathing for Nathaniel Hawthorne and Herman Melville. Mark Twain I
do enjoy, but as a rule I far prefer British authors, especially prior to
the 20th century.
Lynda (whose Dr. always asks her what she is reading now. Specifically any

to them or take them to movies).
