Mitchell:
HEY HP-Land people. Me and a friend had a conversation regarding
this. I think JKR is VEEEERY good at wording DD's words. I believe
that when he said that he's never been able to hold a teacher in
the DADA position, he never said that he could have never hold one
at the school. I've always been under the impression that Quirrell
had been at Hogwarts for a while. I believe that Quirrell may have
been the DADA for a year then for whatever reason, taught another
subject a differnt year then returned to the post of DADA the next.
Just my view.
