At the moment Harry saw Snape, Quirrell had turned his head to talk to
Snape. This means that Voldemort (in the back of Quirrell's head,
hiding in the turban) was facing Harry for the first time. I am
convinced it was Voldemort, and not Snape, that caused the scar to hurt.
