Well, all it took was that and a sadistic streak a mile wide. Here
are a few quotes from "Order of the Phoenix":
"At the same time, the words had appeared on the back of Harrys right
hand, cut into his skin as though traced there by a scalpel - yet even
as he stared at the shining cut, the skin healed over again, leaving
the place where it had been slightly redder than before but quite smooth.
Harry looked round at Umbridge. She was watching him, her wide,
toadlike mouth stretched in a smile."
"He wrenched his arm out of her grip and leapt to his feet, staring at
her. She looked back at him, a smile stretching her wide, slack mouth.
`Yes, it hurts, doesn't it?' she said softly."
"`Yes, Mr Potter, I think a lifelong ban ought to do the trick,' said
Umbridge, her smile widening still further as she watched him struggle
to comprehend what she had said."
"`You c - can't!' howled Professor Trelawney, tears streaming down her
face from behind her enormous lenses, `you c - can't sack me! I've b -
been here sixteen years! H - Hogwarts is in - my h - home!'
`It was your home,' said Professor Umbridge, and Harry was revolted to
see the enjoyment stretching her toadlike face as she watched
Professor Trelawney sink, sobbing uncontrollably, on to one of her
trunks..."
These weren't hard to find, in fact, it's more difficult to find
scenes where Umbridge is *not* enjoying someone else's pain than those
where she is.
She's prctically on the verge of orgasm, "panting slightly" when she
is about to use the Cruciatus on Harry:
"`The Cruciatus Curse ought to loosen your tongue,' said Umbridge quietly.
`No!' shrieked Hermione. `Professor Umbridge - it's illegal.'
But Umbridge took no notice. There was a nasty, eager, excited look on
her face that Harry had never seen before."
