I don't think it's an anagram.  I think the anagram was having "Tom 
Marvolo Riddle" turn into "I am Lord Voldemort" at the end of CoS.

I do think there's a deeper meaning, though.  Rowling has said that 
she wanted Voldemort to be a complex "baddie," and I think Voldemort 
is a "riddle" that needs to be figured out.  Dumbledore figured out 
the horcrux part of his complexity, and perhaps the last horcrux to be 
destroyed (the one that will make Voldemort mortal again) will involve 
solving a riddle (much in the same way that the second to last 
obstacle to the Philosopher's Stone in Book One - the potions 
obstacle - required solving a riddle).
