Maybe the elf magic works differently. After all, they don't use
wands, they don't say any incantations and they can
Apparate/Disapparate from and into Hogwarts. Crouch Jr. said that
Winky uses "her own brand of magic". I have no idea what this "brand"
is, but maybe it can account for the difference in sound.

What a scary thought! I don't think this will happen, it's too
macabre. Besides, Amelia Bones was presumably killed by LV himself.
Why didn't he reanimate her then and there? If he didn't want her body
to walk around London, he could have taken it with him and performed
the corpse reanimating spell elsewhere, but he left it behind. It
seems that making her an Inferius wasn't his intention.

Speaking of Inferi, or rather, about Mundungus impersonating an
Inferius, I wonder how much time will he stay in Azkaban? Sturgis
Podmore was sentenced to six months for his attempt to enter the Dep.
of Mysteries, but Mundungus could get more, because it's a war time
and because he may have a prior record (I admit I have very little
knowledge of law, WW or RW). I'm only interested because, according to
a popular hypothesis, 12 GP's locket is the locket Horcrux, and
Mundungus stole it and sold to someone.

Then, if he was sentenced to more than six month, he will be still in
Azkaban when Harry starts his Horcrux hunting. Wouldn't Harry need to
talk to him about the locket? It might seem strange, but I always
wanted to take a look at Azkaban, it's one of the places that are
often talked about but never shown. Now, with the dementors gone, it's
probably not that bad :-).

Great summary, Marianne, you have a wonderful sense of humor, I
especially loved "Girl-Goyle".
