one has given a good reason why we wouldn't have meet Aberforth as
part of the second Order if he is still in a form to help Albus.

Considering 1) Peter was in the same picture with Aberforth (and Moody
says they 'met him' at this time) combined with 2) Sirius seems to be
very familiar the story about Mundungus being banned from the bar,
your suggestion is as tough to swallow for me as Aberforth the goat is
for you. The banning occured 20 years ago - when both Sirius and Peter
were in school and were part of a 'tightknit' group. Mad Eye Moody may
have only seen Aberforth once but that doesn't mean the Marauders
weren't well acquainted with him. I have the sneaking suspicion the
Marauders were involved in that banning...
