   Don't you think that Vernon's afraid of anything he can't
understand or control - gives Dudders extra presents to keep him from
having a meltdown, feeds him to keep his mouth busy?
   And isn't Petunia doing her very best to be exactly like Vernon's
mother (or some other epitome of perfection) because she really really
really needs approval, obviously Mother always like her sister best.
   We have folks like this as neighbors, and weirder yet, I'm sure -
Now the Weasleys are a different matter, they would be fun!
