Hi all.

I've been somewhat isolated and housebound lately while looking 
after a sick toddler, have been driven nuts by that and because I'm 
trying to re-read the series now, of course I thought of poor lonely 
Voldy :), all alone, 'incomplete' with his soul ripped into shreads, 
half-human and half-whoknowswhat, etc, etc.
Two particular questions:

1) What would his lifestyle be like? I mean, where does he live, 
what does he eat, what on earth does he do with his time?? With all 
that eternity that he's got on his hands at the moment. Because once 
Potter is out of his way (as he hopes), he's going to be so bored 
with no challenge.

2) What is he getting out of being an outcast? I mean, if he wanted 
to merely stay immortal, there was no need to be a meanie-poo to the 
whole WW: you need your 7 Horcruxes? - fine, make them, hide them, 
go to Hawaii and enjoy surfing. I know he's a sociopath and a 
megalomaniac with an agenda (purebloods vs mudbloods/muggles). But 
still, to be immortal and be hiding for eternity? Goodness me.
