I don't think he'll return to school. He is stubborn and he won't
change his mind THAT easily..

Anyway, if he said he's not coming back - he won't come back,
period. In addition, his friend won't try to change his mind,
because they know how he feels about all this - Dumbledore's
death and all this thing with the locket - and they even suggested
to come with him, so they won't be the cause to his approximated
return to the school.
