This is my first post to the group so please forgive me if this
subject has been discussed at length already. I can never work out how
big the wizarding world is meant to be. It is said that Professor
Lupin has been unable to find employment because he is a werewolf yet
no-one in Hogwarts seems to know that he is a werewolf apart from the
teachers. When Snape lets it slip at the end of term that Lupin is a
werewolf he tells Harry that he must leave because a lot of parents
will be sending owls saying that they don't want someone like him
teaching their children. One would think that one of the parents might
already know that Lupin is a werewolf.
