And I thought, but he DID learn that!  At the beginning of HBP, 
Tonks used "episkey" to fix Harry's nose, and then he used it on 
someone's bleeding lip during a Quidditch practice.  Why he couldn't 
use it for Ron's bleeding, splinched arm, I don't know.  (And does 
that mean the chunk of missing arm is lying around somewhere to be 
found, like when he left his eyebrow behind?)
