I kinda thought that he might have given Remus as his 'source'.  I
think I came up with this because in HBP, Remus was a spy, too, with
the werewolves.  Maybe Snape told Voldemort that Remus was his source
in the Order, since they (Voldy and co.) already thought he (Remus)
had turned on them (the Order).  And, if this is the case, I doubt
Remus even knew.

JMO, which is probably WAAAAAAAAAAAAY off :)
