You might also want to note that each time he used an unforgivable
curse, it was with the wand he had won from Draco. Ollivander said
something about the wands personalities and if Draco's wand chose
him it might be more inclined to cast an unforgivable curse.
Especially since Draco had already cast them in the 6th book.
