We have cannon for Andromeda being in Slytherin.  Sirius says that he 
was the first of his family not to be sorted into Slytherin.  He also 
said that he liked his Aunt Andromeda and she was blasted off the 
family tree at the time of her marriage to Ted Tonks.  I believe this 
all happened in OOTP but as I just moved and my books are still packed 
I cannot provide a proper reference.
