I've really surprised myself by feeling so sorry for little Petunia. Not 
that I gave her lots of thought in the earlier books, but there was 
always a feeling that their parents didn't handle the difference between 
the girls very well. But in book 7 it became very clear that there was 
absolutely nothing parents could do to soften the blow, it's just 
completely heartbreaking for a child. And I felt for her situation.
