Wow, I didn't notice this on either read-through. I kept picturing this odd "lonely hearts"
conversation between Voldemort and Snape with Voldemort offering various DE groupies
to Snape. But of course, it couldn't have happened unless it was years later and Snape was
talking to the back of Quirrell's head or to that awful Fetus!Voldemort with Wormtail and
Nagini in the room. Ick.
The scene would work if Voldemort suggested the other women *before* the visit to the
Potter's when Snape went and asked him to spare Lily, but canon says "after she had
gone." I guess it's just a continuity/editing error.
