Nah.  She'll just modify their memories, so that they think they DID 
discuss the matter and they DID agree to go to Australia.  

Memory modification seems like something that ought to be immensely 
complex (on the order of Polyjuice Potion), yet it seems Hermione 
had no problem modifying the **lifelong** memories of TWO people.  I 
realize she's the brightest witch of her age, but come on...
