that last sentence makes a good point - how many sergeant majors are
lovable? If you're teaching a dangerous subject, it is necessary to bully
if you're dealing with adolescents with many other things on their mind, to
get htem to concentrate... The kids behave well for McGonagall because
she's scary, and badly for Binns and Trelawney...
