Kemper now:
I wanted to like Sirius.  No bond develops between Harry and Sirius on
page.  They barely see each other in the entire series.  I yawned when
he fell through the veil.

Lily, too, left me feeling empty.  Well... less full anyway.  But I
absolutely adore Lily when compared to Sirius.
