Why not Madame Pomfrey?

When I was at school, we certainly got lectures on this from our Matron - it was part of her
job - she was the person with primary responsibility for our health and any aspect relating to
our bodies. We were just expected to deal with that.

It wasn't always her, sometimes it was a male member of staff - on one horrifying occasion, it
was actually a Nun! There's no reason to expect that a school nurse, a school Matron
wouldn't be entirely comfortable doing this if needed, and from my experience, she probably
wouldn't care too much if the boys were comfortable or not.
