I wonder if he will find out about his parents at St Mungo's. I 
have to agree, Neville has been more sure of himself in the last 
two books. I think though his changing point was in the first 
book when he stood up Harry, Hermione, and Ron.
   
  Although he still some fears, he has been in there when he is 
needed and he does quite well with ladies.
   
  It would be something in Neville's future that was appointed 
professor for the Defense Against the Dark Arts.
