Hermione played Quidditch with Harry, Ron and Ginny in summer, but 
she was "dreadful" (HBP,p.105). I agree with you both about Snape 
though. I see him as someone who would master every skill considered 
useful in WW. He despises "weakness" and would hate to appear weak 
and incompetent in any situation. He doesn't have a natural gift, but 
he seems to be hard-working and determined enough to become a decent 
flyer.
 

zanooda, who intended to end her post with an example of a situation 
where someone needs to use a broom instead of Apparition, but 
couldn't think of any, probably because of the late hour...
